Java Web Developer

As a JAVA Developer with expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot. Your role will involve building and deploying containerized applications using Docker to ensure scalability and portability. You will deploy and manage cloud-based applications on AWS and Azure Cloud platforms, with a focus on high availability and scalability. Collaborating with DevOps and other teams, you will implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment. Working with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, and Azure Functions will be essential to optimize performance and manage costs. Ensuring security best practices in cloud-based applications and compliance with industry standards will also be a key responsibility. You will conduct unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to maintain high code quality and performance. Your technical skills should include a strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented principles. Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices with the Spring Boot framework is crucial. Proficiency in creating, managing, and deploying Docker containers for application portability is required. Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and Azure Cloud (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service) is necessary. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar for automating build, test, and deployment pipelines is preferred. While experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration is desirable, it is not mandatory. Proficiency with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket for version control and code collaboration is expected. In addition to technical skills, soft skills are essential for this role. Proven experience working with AWS and Azure cloud services is required.
