As a Technical Project Manager at BNP Paribas, you will be responsible for leading software development projects with a focus on JAVA technologies. Your role will involve managing the entire SDLC development lifecycle, providing direction, project planning, and tracking to ensure successful project delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to define project requirements and ensure quality standards are met. Here are the detailed responsibilities: **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead software development projects from inception to deployment, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards. - Own technical projects, including planning, tracking, and implementation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure clear understanding. - Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and managing risks. - Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management. - Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and support. - Capacity planning, Leave planning, Recruitment, Successor planning. - Lead scrum team and assess team performance. - Stay updated with the latest JAVA technologies and development methodologies to improve project delivery. - Lead automation efforts and guide teams towards automation-first mindset. - Resolve performance bottlenecks and propose/review/challenge Application Architecture and Design. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Strong leadership skills and ability to self-manage. - Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines. - Ability to inspire commitment and deliver results. - Resourceful in understanding complexities and providing solutions. - Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring framework, Spring Boot, Angular, PL\SQL or Oracle. - Experience with Kubernetes, Microservices, Distributed Databases. - Practical experience in scalability, reliability, and stability of applications. - Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps methodologies. - Development experience with MVC Architecture based web applications and Web Services. - Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and willingness to learn new technologies. - Nice to have: Product Development experience, knowledge/experience on Dynatrace, No SQL databases, Caching technologies, exposure to Client Management or financial domain, industry-related certifications like TOGAF. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with at least 15 years of experience in the field.
