Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to lead our efforts in managing and enhancing our employee benefits administration platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java development, cloud technologies, and system integration, alongside a deep understanding of employee benefits processes and compliance. Key Responsibilities Oversee the technical implementation and ongoing management of the benefits administration platform (e.g., ADP, Workday, or similar). Ensure the platform is fully optimized for data accuracy, reporting, and user experience. Oversee the development and maintenance of the benefits administration platform using Java and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure). Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and fully integrated with HRIS and payroll systems. Lead integration efforts with third-party vendors, ensuring seamless data flow between the benefits administration platform and other systems. Develop and manage APIs for data exchange, enhancing the overall efficiency of benefits administration processes. Manage a team of developers and technical specialists, providing mentorship and guidance on best practices in Java development and cloud solutions. Plan and execute technical projects related to the benefits platform, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives. Utilize Agile methodologies to manage development cycles and prioritize tasks effectively. Identify and implement enhancements to improve platform functionality and user experience. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend strategic improvements. Preferred Skills Expertise in B2B & B2C applications development using microservices architecture with Java technology stack. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-based application development. Nice to have experience with benefits administration software and HRIS systems. Experience with building API services (REST, SOAP). Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Strong experience on Continuous integration and DevOps pipeline and tools. Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. What youll need 13+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and cloud technologies. Proven experience in managing integration projects and working with APIs. In-depth knowledge of employee benefits administration and related compliance requirements. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and production support skills. Working in cross-functional projects.
