Java Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers in day-to-day development activities. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring frameworks. • Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams to ensure smooth delivery. • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making. • Ensure best coding practices, conduct code reviews, and promote clean, maintainable code. • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely solutions. • Drive sprint planning, task allocation, and progress tracking. • Ensure system reliability, security, and performance optimization. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 68 years of experience in Java backend development, including 1–2 years in a lead or senior role. • Strong hands-on expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST APIs, Microservices, and Hibernate/JPA. • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. • Understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and best coding practices. • Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines. • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred). • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and team-management abilities.
