Job Description Role Description Job Title - Solution Architect / Tech Lead Experience: 10+ YearsLocation: Hyderabad Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in the Payments and Cards domain to lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving architecture decisions, ensuring system integration, and aligning technology with business goals within the Payments and Cards ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design & Architecture: Define and design end-to-end architecture for Payment and Card processing systems using Java-based technologies. Ensure architecture compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS and other regulatory requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions. Development Leadership: Guide and mentor development teams in implementing best practices, coding standards, and design patterns. Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and integrating them into existing systems where applicable. System Integration & Scalability: Architect solutions for integration with external systems such as payment gateways, card networks (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), and banking systems. Design for scalability to handle high transaction volumes and ensure system reliability and performance. Technical Expertise: Provide deep expertise in core Java, microservices architecture, Spring Boot, and other Java-based frameworks. Ensure alignment of software architecture with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and QA teams, to deliver high-quality solutions. Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Compliance & Security: Ensure security best practices in architecture to safeguard sensitive data in compliance with Payment Card Industry standards. Address vulnerabilities through proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies. Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: 10+ years of experience in Java-based development and architecture. 5+ years of experience in the Payments and Cards domain. Strong expertise in frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate. Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Skills: In-depth understanding of payment processing flows, EMV standards, and card scheme integration. Proficiency in database technologies like Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Knowledge of messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and APIs (REST, SOAP). Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) and Agile methodologies. Certification in cloud platforms (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, etc.). Knowledge of ISO 8583/ISO 20022 standards. Hands-on experience with tokenization and fraud prevention solutions. Behavioral Competencies: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Adaptability to dynamic and fast-paced environments.
