Java Software Engineer

As a Java/J2EE Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java/J2EE based applications throughout the full software development lifecycle. This includes actively participating in requirements gathering, designing, developing, testing, and deploying web applications that exhibit high performance and scalability. You will leverage your expertise in Java Server Pages (JSP) and Servlets, along with your understanding of MVC architecture and frameworks like Struts or Spring. Your proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, coupled with your experience in working with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), will be crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of design patterns and software architecture principles. Troubleshooting technical issues effectively and participating in code reviews to maintain coding standards will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will collaborate with team members in an Agile development environment, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and work independently to meet deadlines. Exposure to front-end technologies, experience with reporting solutions like Jasper Reports, and familiarity with Agile methodology and OAuth2.0 for authentication are considered advantageous. Additionally, your ability to develop and consume APIs and RESTful Interfaces will be beneficial for this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development. Mandatory experience in web application development, a strong grasp of OOP concepts, MVC architecture, and RDBMS, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, will be essential for success in this role.
