Java Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Be the thinker and problem solver for large-scale projects, actively participating in development alongside team members for up to 75% of your time. - Build large platform pieces for external RESTful web services, handling over 100 million API transactions daily. - Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions, ensuring scaling, performance, and quality for the team. - Handle massive data generation, build relevant analytics, insights, and monitoring systems where necessary. - Implement long-term technology vision for the company, incorporating long-term thinking into product design. - Stay updated with industry tech developments, drive technology choices for your team, and go beyond your role to contribute to the organization's success. Qualification Required: - 4+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years in scalable product development involving large data handling or transaction processing. - Hands-on experience with scalable RESTful web services, massive data sets, and solid coding skills in Java, including PostgreSQL. - Strong system design and object-oriented skills, with the ability to craft clean interfaces and operate at the right levels of abstraction. - Excellent problem-solving skills for complex problems and exposure to a wide variety of technologies and architectures. - B Tech or higher in Computer Science or equivalent required.
