Job Title: Java Backend Developer Experience: 4 to 6 Years Work Location: Bangalore - on site Work Model: Work from Office (Monday to Friday) Candidate Preference: Open to candidates across India Interview Process: Round 1 Virtual , Round 2 f2f at ( Indore, MP ) Location Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience for an exciting opportunity at Goldman Sachs, Bangalore . The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices , and should be proficient in designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. Mandatory Skill : Java 8 and above Spring Boot Framework Microservices Architecture Relational Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) SQL Apache - preferred Domain Experience Preferred : Banking / Financial Services Tech Skills: Strong proficiency in: Java , Spring Framework , Spring Boot , RESTful APIs PostgreSQL or similar relational databases Apache Kafka development SME-level experience in deploying applications via CI/CD pipelines using tools such as: Chef , Jenkins , SonarQube , Checkmarx , Maven Expertise in: High- and Low-Level System Design Domain-Driven Design (DDD) Event-driven architecture , especially event-first design and implementation Proficient in: Performance tuning System-level troubleshooting and diagnostics Demonstrated ability in: Team Leadership , Mentorship , and Technical Coaching Engaging in technical discussions with senior technical experts and business stakeholders Important Note : The selection process, including face-to-face interviews, will be conducted in Indore .
