Job Description

As a hands-on Java Project & Technical Lead at our company, you will be responsible for owning projects from concept to deployment. You will lead a small team of developers, write and review code, handle CI/CD deployments, manage client coordination, and ensure project compliance. This role requires both technical expertise and operational leadership, making it perfect for individuals who enjoy solving backend challenges, guiding teams, and ensuring successful project delivery from development to production hosting. Key Responsibilities: - Technical Development & Code Ownership: - Lead the design and development of applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and MySQL. - Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code. - Review and guide team members on coding best practices and architecture. - CI/CD, Deployment & Hosting: - Manage code repositories and pipelines (Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar). - Handle deployment and hosting of applications (AWS, Azure, or shared hosting). - Ensure uptime, performance, and proper environment configurations across dev, staging, and production. - Team Leadership & Collaboration: - Lead, mentor, and guide developers in daily tasks and problem-solving. - Coordinate with QA, design, and business teams to ensure aligned progress. - Conduct code reviews, daily stand-ups, and performance check-ins. - Client Communication & Documentation: - Connect directly with clients for requirement gathering, progress demos, and feedback. - Document project flow, version updates, and change requests. - Report project status to your senior or technical manager daily. - Operations & Compliance Support: - Track tasks, timesheets, and process adherence. - Support compliance documentation and internal reporting. - Contribute to overall team efficiency and knowledge sharing. Work Mode & Reporting: - Mode: Hybrid (Remote + On-site when required) - Reporting To: Senior team member working from client site in Delhi - You'll connect with him morning and evening for guidance and updates, and handle the team independently during working hours. - Shift Flexibility: Morning, day, or evening (no earlier than 6 AM, no later than 11:30 PM) - Shift Allowance: Applicable only for extended hours (6-8 AM, 10-11:30 PM) Required Skills: - Strong experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and SQL - Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript for minor integration tasks - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, Git, hosting, and build management - Understanding of server management, logging, and deployment automation - Excellent communication and leadership abilities Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or related field - Prior experience leading or mentoring a small development team - Basic understanding of compliance, reporting, and project documentation Joining us will provide you with an opportunity to combine technical engineering and leadership.
