We are hiring for Level 5 MNC Client : Role: Production support +sql/Java Position: Permanent Exp: 4-6 years Location: Hyd/Bang/Pune NP: Immediate/Serving/30 DAYS Work mode : Hybrid/WFO Key Responsibilities: Production Support and Monitoring: Monitor and manage production systems to ensure availability, performance, and reliability. Perform root cause analysis for issues identified in the production environment, escalating when necessary. Provide 24/7 support for critical production incidents and work closely with development teams to implement quick resolutions. Regularly review production system health reports and address potential issues proactively. SQL Querying and Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, and troubleshooting production issues. Analyze database performance and suggest improvements to increase query efficiency and system speed. Execute data updates, changes, and batch processes on production databases, following change management policies. Support and maintain data integrity, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. Incident and Problem Management: Manage and resolve incidents related to production applications and systems, ensuring minimum downtime. Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve technical issues effectively. Maintain detailed logs of production issues, resolutions, and lessons learned to improve future incident handling. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, and business users to resolve complex issues. Communicate incidents, updates, and resolution timelines clearly to stakeholders. Assist with the deployment and configuration of application updates and patches in the production environment. Performance Tuning and Optimization: Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and make recommendations for improvements. Ensure optimal database configurations and maintenance procedures to minimize system downtime and enhance performance. Documentation and Reporting: Document production support processes, common troubleshooting techniques, and incident resolutions. Provide regular updates and reports on system health, incidents, and major activities to management. Maintain technical documentation related to system configurations and standard operating procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 3-5 years of experience in production support , IT support , or a related role. Strong hands-on experience with SQL (Structured Query Language) for querying, troubleshooting, and resolving database issues. Experience with database management systems (DBMS) like MySQL , SQL Server , or Oracle . Knowledge of incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar) is a plus. Experience with database backup and recovery processes . Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL querying , including complex joins, subqueries, indexing, and optimization. Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues in a production environment. Familiarity with database performance tuning and understanding of query optimization techniques. Experience with monitoring tools for production environments (e.g., Splunk, New Relic, Nagios, etc.) is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
