What You Will Do: • Develop and maintain a robust Java web application to support global operations and users worldwide • Ensure the application's quality and integrity through continuous development and testing • Collaborate with a young, dynamic, and energetic team to excel in cutting-edge web programming technologies • Contribute actively throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment • Assess operational feasibility by evaluating requirements, analyzing problems, and proposing viable solutions • Document solutions clearly and comprehensively, including flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and clean code with detailed comments • Design and implement system specifications, standards, and programming practices to deploy effective solutions • Analyze and optimize operations by recommending improvements to policies and procedures • Stay updated with the latest development tools, programming techniques, and industry trends by engaging in continuous learning and professional development • Protect the integrity of operations by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information • Gather, analyze, and summarize development and service issues to provide key insights for continuous improvement • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior software engineers through advice, coaching, and educational opportunities What You Will Need: • Minimum experience of 3 years as a Java Developer or similar role • Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree • Proficiency in Core Java, Java J2EE, Oracle, PL/SQL, and frameworks like Spring, Swing, and Eclipse • Experience with Web Services, Maven, Git, Shell Scripting, GWT, and RESTEasy framework • Strong skills in front-end technologies like jQuery and familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu • Knowledge of integration tools such as Bitbucket, JIRA, and Bamboo • Solid understanding of system analysis, solution design, and development documentation • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to building innovative, high-quality applications • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • A commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with industry advancements
