Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Java, J2EE and Spring Boot Support Engineer to join our dynamic support team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our enterprise-level applications built using Java and Spring Boot. You will work directly with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our applications. As a Support Engineer , you will utilize your expertise in Java-based backend systems, Spring Boot microservices to identify problems, provide solutions, and enhance the overall user experience. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Java, Spring Boot based applications in production and test environments. Act as a liaison between development and operations teams to ensure the timely resolution of critical production issues. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve software defects and application errors; collaborate with developers to determine root causes and provide solutions. Assist with the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of Spring Boot microservices applications in both cloud and on-premises environments. Monitor application performance, analyze logs, and recommend performance improvements and optimizations. Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements, participate in troubleshooting complex issues, and suggest improvements in code and system design. Provide support for RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration between the front-end (Angular) and back-end (Java, Spring Boot) components. Maintain detailed documentation for all support processes, bug fixes, solutions, and known issues. Provide on-call support for critical production incidents and escalations during off-hours when required. Participate in the continuous improvement of system monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting tools. Assist in onboarding and training new support engineers.
