Java Full Stack Group Manager

As the Applications Development Group Manager at our company, you will lead a team in establishing and implementing new application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. Your role will involve driving applications systems analysis and programming activities, while also being hands-on in development. **Responsibilities:** - Manage multiple teams to accomplish goals and handle personnel duties such as performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions - Provide strategic influence and control over resources, budget management, and planning - Resolve issues using in-depth knowledge within your area and contribute to defining standards - Integrate applications development knowledge with overall technology function to achieve goals - Make evaluative judgments in complicated situations and negotiate with senior leaders across functions - Assess risks and ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations **Qualifications:** - 18+ years of total experience with 13+ years in Java Fullstack development - Hands-on experience in Java with Angular/React - Management experience with global technology teams - Effective communication with Senior Stakeholders in Business, Operations, and Technology - Working knowledge of industry practices and standards - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills **Education:** - Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Master's degree preferred The Senior Technologist role involves leading the technology transformation and migration to native cloud-based platforms.
