We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with 35 years of hands-on experience in building scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot, deployed in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing RESTful APIs, implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, and deploying microservices using GCP Cloud Run.
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and consume RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations. Deploy and manage microservices on GCP using Cloud Run. Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
3–5 years of experience in Java development.
Strong proficiency in Spring Boot framework. Experience with REST API design and development. Hands-on experience with GCP services, especially Cloud Run. Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of containerization (Docker) and microservices architecture. Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with GCP Pub/Sub, Firestore, or Cloud Functions.
Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
