Role & responsibilities Experience-5-7 Location-Pune Mode-hybrid A software development position reporting to a hands-on technical lead on a high demand growing commercial banking application. Developers work in small, focused agile teams with a high degree of autonomy and constant opportunities to participate in product, user experience, technical and architectural design. Developers are involved for the full software lifecycle from design, development and testing all the way through demonstration, training and production go-live. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience • At least 6 years of experience with Java and Object Oriented Programming • Experience in all phases of software development using agile methodologies • Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 or above, SOAP and RESTful web services • Spring Framework / Spring Boot and related microservice technologies • Creation of new microservices and any prior experience around porting current functionality to new microservices • SQL with JDBC and Hibernate/JPA • Experience with Linux / Unix environments • Git version control • Unit testing and continuous integration • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and applying them to improve our products • Expertise in developing JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, single page applications utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks in particular Angular. • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior developers providing technical guidance and code reviews. • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environment. • Bachelors degree in computer science or Information Technology field or equivalent experience.
