🚀 Hiring: Java Developer (JSP + Struts) | Legacy Enterprise Applications

📍 Location: Bengaluru / Chennai / Mumbai / Hyderabad

🔎 Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in JSP and Struts (1.x/2.x) to support and enhance a large-scale legacy enterprise application.

This role is not a pure Core Java position. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working across server-side MVC architecture, JSP-based UI rendering, and Struts Action frameworks, while maintaining and modernizing legacy modules for stability, performance, and usability.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web modules using JSP, Struts (1.x/2.x), Servlets, and related frameworks

• Implement and modify Struts Action classes, Form Beans, and configuration files

• (struts-config.xml, validation.xml, tiles.xml)

• Build and maintain JSP pages, including JSTL, tag libraries, reusable UI components, and templates

• Handle form submissions, validations, error handling, session management, and navigation flows

• Integrate UI modules with backend service layers, APIs, DAOs, and SQL queries

• Debug production issues, improve performance, and refactor legacy code for better maintainability

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in Java web application development with a strong focus on legacy frameworks

• Strong hands-on experience with:

• JSP (JavaServer Pages)

• Struts MVC (1.x and/or 2.x)

• Servlets & Filters

• JSTL and Custom Tag Libraries

• XML-based configuration management

• Solid understanding of server-side MVC architecture, request/response lifecycle, and dispatch mechanisms

• Experience working with large, enterprise-scale applications

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience stabilizing or modernizing legacy Java applications

• Familiarity with performance tuning and production support

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
