Role & responsibilities Job Description: We are seeking a Java Developer with 3.5 + years of experience to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java development , experience with backend frameworks , and a passion for building high-performance, scalable applications. We value individuals who demonstrate strong logical reasoning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills . Being passionate about development, eager to grow, and open to learning new technologies or initiatives is a must. Additionally, the candidate should be adaptable to full-stack development , stepping into both frontend and backend roles as needed based on project demands. Being a quick learner will be a plus. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and industry trends. Be open to learning and adapting to new technologies or initiatives as required. Adapt to full-stack development , working on frontend or backend as per business needs. Quickly learn and implement new technologies to stay ahead in a fast-paced development environment. Required Skills: 3+ years of experience in Java development. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Database Management (SQL/NoSQL) . Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab) . Solid grasp of multithreading, data structures, and algorithms . Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus. Strong logical reasoning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills . Passionate about software development and eager to learn, grow, and adapt . Willingness to step into frontend technologies (Next.js,React.js, Vue.js, etc.) if required. Ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies effectively . Preferred candidate profile Nice to Have: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines . Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems . Exposure to Agile and Scrum methodologies . Interest or experience in Golang development. Understanding of Big O notation and its impact on code efficiency and performance . patterns .
