Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Skills
Strong expertise in Java 11+ (Java 17/21 preferred)
Spring Boot (3.x), Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA
Hibernate 6.x, JPA Criteria API, transaction management
REST API design & microservice architecture
Apache Camel (must have for integrations)
Database experience: PostgreSQL or MariaDB/MySQL
XML/JSON processing, Jackson, JAXB
Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar
Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD basics
Bonus Skills (Highly Advantageous in Metagens)
ISO 20022 / NACHA / Fedwire payment protocols
AWS Infrastructure (ECS, RDS, VPC, NAT, IAM)
Keycloak (OIDC/OAuth2), identity and access control
Redis for caching and OTP/workflows
Event-driven design (Kafka Streams, KTables)
Camel K, Kubernetes, Docker
