Java Developer Intern

As a part of the technical Leadership team, you will collaborate to design and bring innovative solutions and services to the market. Your responsibilities will include creating solutions to run predictions on distributed systems using cutting-edge technologies at incredible scale and speed. You are expected to debug, understand, and enhance functional capabilities to meet client needs effectively. In addition, you will be tasked with building scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost, and easy-to-manage distributed storage, index, and query systems. Your role will involve designing and coding solutions for broadly defined problems, working in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software, and addressing technical challenges and solutions effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the technical Leadership team to design innovative solutions and services - Develop solutions for running predictions on distributed systems - Debug, understand, and enhance functional capabilities for client needs - Build scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost distributed storage, index, and query systems - Design and code solutions for broadly defined problems - Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software - Articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree preferred - 1 year of total work experience, with proficiency in Java and JSP - Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases - Knowledge of optimization mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization - Ability to handle ambiguous problems and think abstractly In addition to the above, the company also values candidates who have previous technical internship experience and are adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems.
