Job Description

Java Developer

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Core Development

Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using
Java (Core + Advanced)
.
Implement high-performance, scalable, and secure code using industry best practices.
Build and optimize microservices-based solutions.

Kafka & Real-Time Processing

Work with
Apache Kafka
for building real-time data pipelines and event-driven architectures.
Develop Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and streaming workflows.
Troubleshoot and optimize Kafka-related performance issues.

Database & SQL Design

Design efficient database schemas, write optimized SQL queries, and work with relational databases.
Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and query tuning.
Collaborate with database teams for schema changes and improvements.

Integration & System Design

Integrate Java applications with various internal and external systems.
Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical design.
Work within Agile/Scrum methodology for sprint planning and delivery.

Testing & Documentation

Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support QA teams during validation.
Prepare technical documentation, design specs, and release notes.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Mandatory Skills

Strong experience in
Java (5+ years)
Hands-on expertise in
Kafka
Proficiency in
SQL and database design
Good understanding of microservices, APIs, and backend architecture

Good to Have

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Experience with Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
