Job Description

NTT DATA is seeking a Java Developer - Digital Engineering Lead Engineer to join the team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. As a Lead Software Engineer (Product Development) or SaaS Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building backend Rest API Services based on Spring Boot deployed in a SaaS environment. You will collaborate with a global team across the US and India to interpret business requirements into technical design and code. Your responsibilities will include developing REST API in a Microservices architecture deployed on Microsoft's Azure platform, utilizing technologies like ReactJS, JavaScript/Typescript, Spring Boot, Azure SQL, Azure Blob, Azure Logic Apps, Portal, and Supply Chain planning software. You will work towards improving engineering productivity, efficiency, and quality, supporting existing customers with enhancements, creating technical documentation, and addressing technical challenges proactively. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in STEM with a minimum of 8+ years of software development experience. Strong programming skills, hands-on development experience, and a background in building products with an API first approach in a SaaS environment are essential. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and SQL is required, while knowledge of Public Clouds (Azure, AWS), Spring Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, and experience in the Supply Chain domain are preferred. Additionally, a good understanding of secure architectures, identity management, and data encryption is beneficial.
