Java Developer

As a Software Engineer at Cognyte, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. Your responsibilities will include contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle and writing well-designed, testable, efficient code. Qualifications Required: - BSc in Software Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java/JEE development. - Experience in the Spring Framework. - Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms. - Proficiency in Object-Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. - In-depth understanding of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.). - Experience with Microservices, multithreading, REST, application servers, and open-source tools. - Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within software design and development. Additionally, experience with containers such as OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, Kafka, relational databases, SQL, ORM technologies, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
