Java Backend Developer

Position: Java Developer – Full Stack (Liferay) Experience: 1–4 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Purpose: We are looking for a passionate Java Developer with strong experience in both frontend and backend web development. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Java, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST API integration, with hands-on experience in the Liferay framework being an added advantage. You will collaborate with product, design, and technical teams to develop scalable, high-performing web applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain robust web applications using Java, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Design and develop RESTful APIs to seamlessly integrate frontend and backend systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features. Customize, configure, and extend Liferay components as per business requirements. Debug, identify, and resolve technical issues to ensure application reliability and performance. Optimize application for speed, scalability, and responsiveness. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Maintain and create technical documentation for internal use. Technical Skills Required: Backend Development: Proficiency in Java, JSP, Servlets Experience in REST API development and integration Knowledge of MVC frameworks Frontend Development: Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS Ability to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces Liferay Framework (Desirable): Hands-on experience with Liferay DXP / Portal Ability to configure, customize, and extend Liferay components, themes, and portlets Additional: Familiarity with database operations and SQL Version control systems like Git Problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate in agile teams Proactive, self-driven, and detail-oriented Quick learner with adaptability to new technologies Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Why Join Us?
