Java Backend Developer

As a Java Backend Developer for a remote opportunity, you will be responsible for the following: Role Overview: You will be a key member of the remote development team, utilizing your expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka to design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs for the telecom and networking domains. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java / Core Java. - Build and manage microservices using Spring Boot architecture. - Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication across systems. - Work with Kafka for event-driven architecture and real-time data streaming. - Design and optimize database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL and MQL. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver sustainable solutions. - Ensure code quality, performance, scalability, and security standards. - Work on Linux environments for development and deployment activities. - Apply strong logical reasoning and analytical problem-solving skills to complex technical challenges. Qualification Required: - 5-8 years of proven experience in Java Backend Development. - Strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture. - Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging and data streaming. - Familiarity with telecom and networking domain concepts. - Expertise in REST API development and integration. - Strong experience in PostgreSQL and MQL (Mongo Query Language or similar). - Proficiency with Linux command-line and system-level operations. - Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithmic problem solving. - Strong logical thinking, analytical, and debugging skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
