About the Role:

Mandatory Skills:

  • Java (8 or above)

  • Spring Boot

  • Microservices Architecture

  • AWS Services: AWS Connect, S3, Lambda

  • Kafka (Message Queues/Event Streaming)

  • SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent)

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Integrate applications with AWS services such as AWS Connect, S3, and Lambda.
  • Build event-driven and real-time data processing systems using Kafka.
  • Write efficient and optimized SQL queries and ensure data integrity across services.
  • Implement RESTful APIs, ensuring best practices in API design and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to continuous improvement, and follow agile practices.
  • Ensure applications are secure, highly available, and performant in cloud environments.
  • Maintain documentation of architecture, design decisions, and APIs.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Understanding of DevOps and cloud-native best practices
