Job Description

Job Summary:

L3 Java Application Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Provide
L3-level production support
for Java-based applications.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues within SLA timelines.
Perform
root cause analysis (RCA)
for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
Support and optimize
Hadoop
and
Spark
clusters for performance and stability.
Monitor application performance, logs, and system health.
Work closely with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and system enhancements.
Participate in release management, deployment, and post-deployment validation.
Create and maintain
support documentation
, SOPs, and incident reports.

Technical Skills Required:

Strong experience in
Core Java / J2EE
and related frameworks.
Hands-on experience with
Hadoop
ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, HBase, Yarn, etc.).
Proficiency in
Apache Spark
for data processing and performance optimization.
Experience with
SQL / NoSQL databases
.
Familiarity with
Linux / Unix environment
and shell scripting.
Experience with
monitoring and logging tools
(e.g., Splunk, Kibana, Grafana).
(Optional) Knowledge of
AWS services
such as EC2, S3, EMR, Lambda, and CloudWatch.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
