Role Overview: You will be part of a major strategic initiative to modernize critical business applications by transitioning from legacy Mainframe systems to a cloud-native architecture using Java, Angular, and AWS. Your role as a Java Angular AWS Technical Lead will involve leading a development team in designing and developing modern components of the architecture, ensuring seamless integration with legacy mainframe functionalities. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical leadership by mentoring and guiding a team of Java and Angular developers, promoting best practices in software design, coding, testing, and deployment. - Design robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions using Java (Spring Boot), Angular, and AWS services, focusing on microservices, APIs, and front-end applications. - Actively participate in hands-on development, code reviews, and implementation of complex application components to ensure high-quality, maintainable code. - Utilize AWS services effectively to build and deploy applications, focusing on cost-optimization, performance, and reliability in the cloud. - Collaborate with mainframe technical leads to understand legacy system functionalities, design effective interfaces, and migration strategies. - Design, develop, and manage RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption, ensuring consistency, security, and performance. - Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automated builds, testing, and deployments within the AWS environment. - Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues spanning front-end, back-end, and cloud infrastructure. - Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and security requirements by implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting. - Effectively communicate technical designs, decisions, and challenges to technical teams, architects, project managers, and business stakeholders. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, OR equivalent extensive practical experience. - 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with expertise in Java Spring Boot. - At least 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, guiding development teams and owning technical design. - Strong experience in developing modern web applications using Angular. - Demonstrable experience designing, building, and deploying applications on AWS using core services. - Solid understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and development. - Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, build tools, version control, and CI/CD tools. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
