IT Windows Server Administrator

As a candidate for the position, you will be responsible for managing Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2016, 2019) and desktop hardware and operating systems (Windows 10 and 11). Your hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy will be crucial. You should have a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs. Knowledge of security best practices, such as patch management and anti-virus management, is essential. Your troubleshooting skills will be key in diagnosing and resolving desktop and server issues. Additionally, you should be willing to work night shifts as required. In terms of communication, excellent written and verbal skills in English are necessary. Strong interpersonal skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with clients and team members. Additional skills that would be beneficial include experience in virtualization technologies like Hyper-V and VMware. Certifications in AWS or Azure would be considered an added advantage. Qualifications and experience required for this role include a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
