Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Configuration:
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) on servers and end-user devices.
Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Oversee cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and manage virtual machines. User and access management
Create, manage, and delete user accounts and permissions, often through Active Directory or similar tools.
Handle employee onboarding and offboarding procedures related to IT access.
Manage email and communication services like Microsoft 365. Maintenance and Monitoring:
Monitor system performance and logs to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
Perform routine system audits and scheduled maintenance.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.

Technical skills:

Operating systems: Expertise in Windows Server is a must.
Networking: Strong understanding of network concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
Virtualization and cloud: Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, or Azure is increasingly important.
Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
Security: Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, security tools, and data protection.
Database management: Familiarity with SQL and experience managing database systems

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Certification: CCNA/CCNP/MCSA /Palo Alto PCNSE/ Fortinet NSE4/7 / AWS /Azure Network Specialty
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise network engineering
