Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our organizations IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will manage and maintain laptops, desktops, Wi-Fi networks, firewalls, projectors, and Office 365 email accounts, as well as handle license management and troubleshooting for end-users. Key Responsibilities Hardware Support Setup, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, and peripherals such as projectors and printers. Perform regular maintenance and upgrades of hardware to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues in a timely manner. Network Management Monitor, configure, and maintain Wi-Fi networks to ensure reliable connectivity. Manage firewalls to safeguard the network and enforce security protocols. Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues promptly. Software and Licensing Management Administer and maintain Office 365 accounts, including email setup and troubleshooting. Manage software licenses, renewals, and compliance across the organization. Install and update software applications as required. IT Security Implement security measures to protect IT systems from threats and unauthorized access. Regularly update antivirus software and monitor systems for vulnerabilities. Technical Support Provide technical support to staff for IT-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Educate employees on best practices for IT and cybersecurity. Documentation and Reporting Maintain detailed documentation of hardware inventory, software licenses, and IT procedures. Generate regular reports on IT operations, including usage, maintenance, and security incidents. Qualifications Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience Minimum of 2 years in IT support or a related role. Hands-on experience with hardware maintenance and troubleshooting. Skills Proficiency in managing Office 365 and Windows environments. Solid understanding of network configurations, Wi-Fi management, and firewalls. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator. Familiarity with IT service management frameworks like ITIL. Experience with cloud-based solutions and remote IT support tools.
