Job Description

Role Overview: As an Application Support Analyst at Infor, you will be responsible for maintaining clear, concise, and timely communications with affected parties during the investigation and resolution of any individual or system-wide outage. Your strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure in a deadline-oriented global environment will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of various reporting applications. Additionally, you will play a key role in user administration to internal applications and providing technical troubleshooting and best practices documentation to enhance self-reliance within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Track and monitor application issues through the centralized ticketing system. - Respond to incidents, record incident activity, and solve problems efficiently. - Work independently utilizing available support material and tools to resolve problems or escalate when necessary. - Manage workload effectively, providing accurate accounting of work and time allocation. - Provide input on operational efficiencies and technical product improvements. - Become an internal expert on supporting Infor software and other enterprise products. Qualifications Required: - 2 years of previous application support experience. - 1 year of experience with SQL (Microsoft/Oracle/DB2/Postgre). - Strong analytical skills and good organizational abilities. - Clear communication skills in verbal and written/electronic modes. - Familiarity with basic functions of Reporting applications. - Knowledgeable on any of the Reporting Applications (Birst/Power BI/Tableau/SSRS/Domo).
