Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for an IT Software Support Specialist. The role involves providing technical support for software systems, troubleshooting and resolving user issues, performing routine system maintenance, and ensuring the smooth functioning of software applications. The IT Software Support Specialist will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges, document issues and solutions, and assist in implementing software upgrades and updates.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and providing timely technical support to end-users
• Experience with system maintenance, software configuration, and managing software updates
• Strong understanding of IT software systems, including setup and monitoring
• Knowledge of database management and ability to analyze and resolve system-related issues
• Clear and effective communication skills to guide users and collaborate with team members
• Capability to work on-site in Chennai with a proactive, problem-solving approach
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in IT software support within the financial or microfinance sector is an added advantage
