Role Overview: As a software developer at Qualcomm, you will have the exciting opportunity to design and deliver a portfolio of distributed software solutions and services for core engineering teams involved in chipset design. Your role will involve utilizing the latest EDA technologies to develop integrations with a variety of SoC systems, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security. Key Responsibilities: - Develop software solutions for planning, execution, and optimization of chipset design. - Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions meeting business objectives and customer needs. - Implement best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and automated testing. Qualifications Required: - 4 to 6 years of experience in full-stack application development using Java, Python, and Angular technologies. - Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving. - Proficiency in multiple front-end languages (Javascript, Typescript, CSS3, LESS/SAAS) and libraries (Angular, React). - Experience in multiple back-end languages (Java, Python, Javascript/Typescript) and associated frameworks (Springboot, Django/Flask, Express). - Familiarity with databases (MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (Nginx), and UI/UX design. - Good understanding of SoC development process and key exit reviews in the SoC Phase gate model. - Experience working in a distributed team and communicating across geographic boundaries. - Ability to write reusable code, implement best practices, and design patterns. Desirable Skills: - Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Knowledge of microservice architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with search frameworks (Lucene/Apache SOLR/Elastic Search) and messaging technologies (RabbitMQ/Kafka). - Intermediate level working knowledge of Redis and Elasticsearch. Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
