IT Service Manager

Role : Senior Service Manager (IT)

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor application management services from initiation to closure
• Monitor and report on the performance and availability of the services and identify and resolve any issues or risks.
• Coordinate the application support team activities
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations
• Ensure the quality and timeliness of service deliverables related to incident management and service requests management
• Provide technical support and guidance to the application support team and the business stakeholders
• Prepare and maintain service documentation and reports
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in IT service management and construction\material management applications.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in application development and service management
• Proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python or C#
• Knowledge of transactional and NoSQL database systems, such as Oracle, MS Sql Server, Couchbase
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices
• Experience working with public, hybrid, and on-premises private clouds, with a particular focus on the Azure cloud domain
• Familiar with software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
• Familiar with material management processes and software solutions (e.g.: SPMAT, Aveva ERM)
