Job Description

What a Technical Recruiter Does

Works with hiring managers
to understand job requirements (skills, experience, tech stack).
Sources candidates
using platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, referrals, and networking.
Screens applicants
for technical knowledge, experience, and culture fit.
Coordinates interviews
between candidates and engineering teams.
Guides candidates
through the hiring process, including scheduling, feedback, and offers.
Negotiates compensation
and manages job offers.
Maintains talent pipelines
for future roles.

Key Skills Needed

Understanding of programming languages and tech stacks (e.g., Python vs. Java roles, front-end vs. backend).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to assess resumes for technical accuracy.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Networking and relationship-building.
