IT Project Manager

In this role, you will be working as an IT Project Manager for a Fortune 500 company in a fast-paced global environment. You will report to the Portfolio Execution Manager and Program Manager to drive strategic projects within the enterprise. Your responsibilities will include: - Adhering to Project Management standard processes set by the Program Management Office (PMO) - Following the Emerson-established Project Delivery Guide - Collaborating with peers to identify continuous improvement opportunities within project management - Assessing projects to determine the appropriate approach and methodology - Leading Project Risk mitigation efforts - Managing Resource Capacity, Dependencies, Goals, and Milestones - Monitoring project progress and ensuring Scope, Schedule, Cost, and Quality are maintained - Tracking and resolving issues during the project lifecycle and escalating concerns to management - Defining project roles and responsibilities - Being accountable for Project Performance and ensuring timely progress - Managing customer organizational change and communication - Coordinating work between different teams and 3rd party suppliers - Supervising supplier progress and contract adherence To be successful in this role, you will need: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience - Prior Project Management experience - Technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure - Excellent English language skills - Project Management certifications (preferred) - Minimum 7+ years of IT or Business-related experience - Minimum 5+ years of experience as a project manager - Strong Communication, Teamwork, Customer Relationship, and Influence skills - Experience in global teamwork and project management - Experience in Infrastructure, Data Center, and/or Oracle projects Preferred qualifications that set you apart include knowledge of Azure Boards and other Agile project delivery tools, as well as Infrastructure or Network experience.
