IT Project Management Trainee (Internship)

Job Description

This is a remote position. KraftPixel is a bespoke IT development services company grateful to be working with clients like smallcase, Angel One, IIFL, HDFC Securities Limited and more, carrying a focus on projects in the web domain. We are looking for a high-ownership internship candidate with the basic technical know-how of web development so that she/he can manage the execution of tasks and coordinate between the clients and the developers on a proactive basis. Also, someone who understands the basics of business and can come up with fixes for loopholes or ideas for growth of the company proactively. Your Missions at KraftPixel Learning and managing projects at KraftPixel in a way that all success KPIs are met - timely delivery, clear communication and expected vs actual ratio at 1:1. Practically learning to support the Engineering team by ensuring understanding and execution of the requirements as per the expectation of the client and suggesting approaches as per the situation Practically learning to support clients by maintaining Google Sheets to give them regular updates on the progress Practically learning to support the management by contributing to growth ideas and initiatives undertaken by the management Requirements Must-have Hard Skills that you will be working on acquiring: Technical Competence Google Sheets and other relevant collaborative softwares A mindset that understands how a business functions and can identify loopholes and come up with ideas for the growth of the organization Basic technical knowledge about how websites are built Project management skills such as Gantt Charts, Reporting mechanisms etc. Analytical Skills, Task Planning Skills and Logic Envisioning will be a plus Basic knowledge of WordPress backend and frontend development will be a plus Must-have Soft Skills that you will be practically learning on acquiring Project Management Proficient English communication skills, both written as well as spoken English An attitude of high ownership in everything you do at KraftPixel. Time management, Expectation setting, Gaining the co-operation of stakeholders (clients, engineers at our end) to accomplish projects and tasks smoothly Supervision skills As this is a trainee position, the candidate will be required to use their own laptop/PC for work. Benefits As a part of this internship: This is a minimum 7 months to a maximum 15 months internship. Your initial stipend will be set to 2.5k; your stipend will increase with time between a range of 0 - 2.5k every 3 months of internship depending on whether you acquire the necessary skillsets as a reward for your dedication. This will increase to a max limit of Rs. 12.5k/month. Upon completion of 9 months of internship, a full-time job offer will be presented to the internship candidates who have performed nothing short of excellent. You have to clock 184 hours compulsorily in a month, so if you are a student with offline college, this internship may not work for you. If you are not selected for a full-time offer, you will receive a neat-looking certificate that will help you in your further career Certificate only if you complete 6 months of internship; and LOR or full-time job offer (subject to excellent performance) between 9th and 12th month of internship.
