Job description We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in both on-premise and cloud-based network solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructures, with a strong focus on security Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain robust on-premise and cloud-based network architectures. Manage cloud networking solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Collaborate with the IT and operations teams to deploy and optimize surveillance and POS systems. Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance network efficiency and security. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering and architecture. Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (Cisco, Juniper, etc.). Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and other networking protocols. Familiarity with setting up and managing surveillance systems and retail POS systems. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or similar.Experience in the retail industry, particularly with multi-location networks. Knowledge of network security practices and compliance standards.
