Job Description

Job Purpose :- To manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, ensure compliance with security protocols, and coordinate with vendors for seamless IT operations, supporting the business's technological needs. Responsibilities: IT Infrastructure Management: Maintain and troubleshoot servers, networks, firewalls, and data storage systems. Ensure availability and performance of IT systems (LAN, WAN, VPN). Manage cloud services like Office 365, Google Workspace, and data backup solutions. Participate in the design of IT infrastructure and network. Assist in managing ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems such as CCTV, Access Control, and Networking Understand and recommend IT infrastructure and data security solutions with interdependency. User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications Manage user access rights and system permissions Respond to service requests and resolve hardware/software issues within defined SLAs. Ensure data backups per defined frequency and SOP System Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, servers, and applications Manage antivirus software and system patches Ensure hardware and software are compliant with regulatory requirements Asset Management: Maintain IT inventory, including laptops, desktops, network devices, peripherals, software, and application licenses. Prepare and manage IT asset handover forms during employee onboarding and exit. Ensure software and application licenses comply with IT regulatory requirements Security & Compliance: Ensure IT security protocols and data protection policies are followed Manage user data backups and restore policies Maintain audit logs as per pharma data integrity guidelines (GMP & 21 CFR Part 11) Understand the interdependency between IT infrastructure and data security and recommend solutions to management. Skills Required: In-depth knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Network Management Experience with Firewall, VPN, and Antivirus Management Familiarity with IT infrastructure in Pharma regulatory environments Strong troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and coordination abilities Ability to understand business requirements and recommend appropriate technological solutions Qualification: Graduate in IT/Computer Science or relevant field Certification in CCNA, MCP, or ITIL (Preferred) Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, preferably in a Pharma/Manufacturing setup
