System Administrator / IT Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations & Infrastructure Management

• Maintain and administer core IT infrastructure, including:
  
• Operating systems (Windows/Linux)
  
• Security tools and applications
  
• Servers, desktops, and laptops
  
• Email systems (Microsoft Office 365)
  
• Firewalls, CCTV, and leased lines
  
• Hardware/software installations and configurations
  
• Manage and optimize

  Veeam Backup

  solutions for disaster recovery and data protection.
• Ensure smooth functioning of telecommunications and

  EPABX (Matrix) systems

  .

System Reliability & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues by running diagnostics, documenting issues, and prioritizing based on business impact.
  
• Handle business-critical IT tasks to provide strong commercial advantage in a global environment.
  
• Manage high-severity and high-priority IT incidents, including escalation and communication at the director level.
  

Security & Data Protection

• Implement and manage regular backup operations, failover procedures, and disaster recovery strategies.
  
• Ensure data security, capacity planning, and storage management across systems.
  
• Maintain compliance with company IT security policies and best practices.
  

Coordination & Vendor Management

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to communicate project updates, activities, and achievements.
  
• Maintain records of IT assets and user compliance with accurate, up-to-date documentation.
  
• Track billing cycles, payments, and service status of IT vendors to avoid service interruptions.
  

Remote Support

• Provide high-quality remote IT support to users across multiple company locations.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of systems administration, IT infrastructure, and network management.
  
• Hands-on experience with:
  
• Hardware & Networking
  
• Servers
  
• Firewalls
  
• Telecommunication systems
  
• Printers
  
• Office 365 administration
  
• Backup solutions (Veeam preferred)
  
• Understanding of networking protocols and cybersecurity best practices.
  
• Experience with managing EPABX (Matrix) systems is a strong advantage.
  
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
