Job Overview

Rais Foundation is seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Officer to support and manage the technological needs of our school-based institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth digital operations, and providing technical support to staff and students. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, up-to-date technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to system improvement.

Educational Qualifications

• MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
• OR Degree in Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• OR Software Engineering / Computer Engineering / IT Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all school IT systems, networks, and hardware.
• Provide timely technical support to staff, teachers, and students.
• Install, configure, and update software, applications, and security tools.
• Troubleshoot system issues, connectivity problems, and device malfunctions.
• Oversee data backup, cybersecurity, and safe digital practices within the school.
• Manage school websites, online portals, smart-class equipment, and digital classrooms.
• Coordinate with vendors for IT assets, repairs, and AMC services.
• Ensure proper functioning of biometric systems, CCTV, projectors, and printers.
• Support digital exams, online classes, and tech-based school operations.
• Document IT processes, inventory, and maintenance logs.

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, and software systems.
• Familiarity with school ERP systems, LMS tools, and cloud platforms (preferred).
• Good understanding of cybersecurity and data protection.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.

• Salary: as per organization norms
