Key Responsibilities: Layer 3 Switching Basic Knowledge in VLAN concept. Firewall configurations – Palo alto knowledge will be an advantage AD, DNS , DHCP – working knowledge in these concepts WIFI ARUBA – Knowledge in wireless concepts especially on Aruba Wi-Fi APs. Vendor management - Manage and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods/services End-user Support : Provide technical support to end users for desktop/laptop hardware, software, and peripheral devices. Resolve technical issues through remote or on-site assistance. System Setup & Installation : Install and configure new desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices, ensuring proper setup and connectivity. Software Management : Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and software tools. Ensure software licenses are properly managed. System Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance on desktops and laptops, including updates, patches, antivirus scanning, and backup configuration. Configuration Management : Assist in managing desktop configurations through imaging, scripting, and automation tools. Security : Ensure that all devices adhere to company security policies, including the implementation of anti-virus, encryption, and security patches. Documentation : Maintain detailed records of support activities, technical issues, resolutions, and user feedback in the help desk ticketing system. Purchase and asset inventory: Provide support in the IT related procurement process and maintain asset inventory. Collaboration : Work closely with the IT team, network engineers, and system administrators to ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems and provide proactive solutions. Training & Guidance : Provide guidance and training to end-users on how to use software applications and resolve minor technical issues. Shifts : Must be willing to work in Shifts.
