IT DevOps Engineer Overview We are looking for an IT DevOps Engineer to develop, build, deploy and support IT solutions for automation related to environment management, deployment and operations. Drive the automation of infrastructure and application services to reduce labor costs and time to deliver services. Lead IAM and SSO initiatives to streamline access and provisioning. This position will also work closely with the desktop team to automate the install of new applications and laptops that will result in a reduction in 20% of the System Administration time creating these deployment packages manually. This role will also act as the application integration specialist for enterprise applications allowing the existing staff to focus on migrating to Thermon's cloud strategy. Responsibilities: Develop, implement and maintain identity and access management solutions and systems. Troubleshoot, identity and resolve technical identity and access management related issues. Integrate Sailpoint solutions with in-house & third-party applications for provisioning and deprovisioning. Experience with one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript etc.). Maintains system documentation and protocols to ensure that additions and modifications are thoroughly documented upon implementation. Defines technical component solutions that take into account the enterprise architecture strategies, current state environments and constraints. Ensure relevant IAM processes and controls and implemented in business units, which includes delivery, support and advisory for such activities. Ensure IAM program is measured and priorities based on a defined IAM and IT Security Program roadmap. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology disciplines with 5 to 7 years' experience. Comprehensive knowledge and experience with authentication standards and technologies such as multi factor authentication, JSON Web Token (JWT), etc. Extensive knowledge and experience with identity and access management technology such as single sign on (SSO) two-factor authentication and privileged access management. Extensive experience implementing and working with Sail Point solutions. Proven track record of automating routine technology tasks. Strong Knowledge of Active Directory, Kerberos, Ldap. Oauth 2.0 and Open ID Connect. Programming and scripting experience with Python. Certifications on CIAM /CIGE /CIMP /SRISC is preferred. Working knowledge of Ansible or Puppet. Here are some key responsibilities as an IAM specialist, Architecting and implementing Okta integrations for identity and access management across both cloud and on-prem environments. Configuring and managing Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and user provisioning/de-provisioning. Implementing SSO using protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect. Integrating Active Directory (AD) with Okta for streamlined user authentication and access control. Managing the lifecycle of user identities and access permissions to ensure compliance with security policies. Troubleshooting and resolving IAM-related issues and optimizing Okta configurations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect and maintain secure, efficient IAM solutions. Designing and implementing Okta workflows to automate user access, provisioning, de-provisioning, and approval processes, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual effort. Building complex Okta workflows using Oktas Workflows tool for automating identity-related tasks, integrating with third-party systems, and implementing custom security policies.
