As an IT Support Specialist at our company, your role will involve maintaining essential IT operations, which includes managing operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware. You will handle business-critical IT tasks and work towards system improvements to enable faster and smarter business processes and enhance employee productivity. Researching and evaluating emerging technologies, hardware, and software will also be a part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will serve as a subject-matter expert supporting Mac OS X, Windows, and widely used software and applications like Microsoft, Adobe, and Google Workspace. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, and supporting workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones - Analyzing staff needs, identifying vulnerabilities, and enhancing efficiency and accuracy - Executing systems and network design, documentation, implementation, testing, and administration - Ensuring that components meet business needs and operate seamlessly together - Implementing applications and software upgrades, as well as troubleshooting any performance issues - Providing training to employees on software and hardware usage and offering technical support when required To qualify for this role, you should have: - Two years of IT experience - Deep knowledge of operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools - Excellent interpersonal skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information Preferred qualifications include: - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science - Project management experience - Professional certification In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, the company offers benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, and internet reimbursement.
