What we are looking for Role: IT Asset Management Experience Range: 4 - 6 years Location: Bengaluru / Chennai / Pune / Indore / Hyderabad Interview Mode: Saturday Virtual Drive Must Have: Minimum 5 mandate details are mandate with two or 3 liners 1. Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee the acquisition, deployment, inventory, maintenance, and disposal of IT hardware assets. Ensure hardware assets are tracked accurately throughout their lifecycle. 2. Inventory and Asset Tracking: Maintain an up-to-date and accurate inventory of IT hardware assets using asset management tools. Conduct regular audits to verify asset records and ensure compliance with organizational standards. 3. Procurement and Vendor Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to manage hardware purchases and vendor contracts. Negotiate with vendors to optimize costs and ensure timely delivery of assets. 4. Compliance and Governance: Ensure hardware asset management complies with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Develop and enforce asset management policies, procedures, and best practices. 5. Budgeting and Cost Optimization: Monitor and control IT asset costs, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements. Assist in budget planning for hardware procurement and maintenance. 6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, end-users, and stakeholders to understand hardware requirements and resolve issues. Provide regular updates on asset status, availability, and performance metrics. 7. Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on asset utilization, compliance, and lifecycle status. Analyze asset data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Good to Have: Minimum 2 mandate details are mandate with two or 3 liners Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IT asset management tools and systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Lansweeper). Familiarity with IT hardware types, configurations, and specifications. Organizational and Analytical Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and asset tracking. Strong analytical skills to identify asset-related trends and areas for improvement. Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and vendors. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Certification: Certification in IT Asset Management (e.g., IAITAM CHAMP or CITAM) is preferred. Essential: Oversee the acquisition, deployment, inventory, maintenance, and disposal of IT hardware assets. Maintain an up-to-date and accurate inventory of IT hardware assets using asset management tools. Collaborate with procurement teams to manage hardware purchases and vendor contracts. Ensure hardware asset management complies with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Monitor and control hardware asset costs, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
