Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Asset Management & Inventory Control

  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT hardware and software assets.
  • Track asset lifecycle from procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement/disposal.
  • Conduct periodic asset audits (monthly/quarterly/annual).
  • Ensure tagging, labeling, and documentation of all IT equipment.

2. Procurement & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with vendors for purchasing, warranty claims, replacements, and repairs.
  • Compare quotations, negotiate prices, and raise purchase requests.
  • Maintain documentation for invoices, AMC/renewal contracts, and service agreements.

3. Software License Management

  • Track software licenses, subscriptions, and renewals.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for license keys, agreements, and renewals.

4. IT Support & Coordination

  • Work with IT support teams to allocate and deploy assets to users.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding by managing laptop allocations and retrievals.
  • Assist in troubleshooting basic hardware-related issues before escalation.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Generate regular reports on asset utilization, stock level, and aging reports.
  • Maintain accurate and complete asset records in asset management tools (such as ServiceNow, Fresh service, or in-house systems).
  • Prepare dashboards and MIS for management review.

6. Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with IT security and audit standards.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance asset lifecycle efficiency.
  • Ensure proper disposal of e-waste in compliance with environmental regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 per month
