IT Architect Specialist

**Job Description:** As a Solution Architect, you will collaborate with clients and various functional areas to design IT Roadmaps that illustrate architectural complexities and interactions of information systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing, refining, and documenting the business requirements of clients - Identifying critical deficiencies in existing systems and recommending solutions for improvement - Planning and designing information systems within established guidelines and objectives - Researching new technological advances and recommending solutions to address current system needs - Providing technical architecture and support across applications, guiding software/hardware requirements, and analyzing infrastructure and capacity planning - Soliciting and incorporating feedback from internal customers and IT teams to align solutions with user needs and business objectives - Leading by example in adopting best practices for secure, high-performance architectures **Responsibilities:** - Being a subject matter expert on the solutions you are responsible for - Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the entire solution and its components - Acting as an escalation point for troubleshooting critical issues and offering remediation solutions - Working with Product Owners to ensure safe and sustainable delivery of the vision - Owning architectural technical debt and advocating for its prioritization - Working with various teams to identify and plan solution improvements and create modern architected solutions - Maintaining architecture and standards within implementation teams - Supporting in the diagnosis and resolution of architecture issues and risks - Participating in a community of practice with other Solution Architects **Qualifications Required:** - 12 or more years of experience in software engineering - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent - 3 or more years of experience as a software architect - 10 or more years of experience in software development in Java/C# - 5 or more years of experience in microservices architecture, APIs, Internet gateways, and APIMs - In-depth knowledge of application security best practices - Experience in building highly available systems, databases, multi-threading, concurrency, and one or more cloud platforms **Additional Details:** The desired skills and capabilities for this role include: - Possessing wide-ranging experience and using professional concepts to resolve complex issues creatively - Working on complex issues with in-depth evaluation of variable factors - Taking ownership of defining methods and procedures for new assignments and acting as a team lead - Fostering collaboration to meet objectives efficiently and networking with key contacts outside the area of expertise This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to drive architectural decisions to meet business objectives effectively.,
