Job Description

Role: IT & Network Engineer Location: Chennai What youll be Responsible for? IT Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain corporate network infrastructure, including servers, workstations User Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to end-users across various departments for hardware and software issues. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to applications, network connectivity, hardware, and software. Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up IT systems and ensuring they are trained on relevant software/tools. System Security and Compliance: Monitor and maintain the security of corporate IT systems to protect against cybersecurity threats. Implement and enforce security protocols, including data encryption, antivirus software, and firewalls. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging threats, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance. Software and Hardware Management: Manage corporate licenses for software applications and ensure timely renewals. Oversee hardware procurement, inventory, and lifecycle management. Conduct regular software and hardware audits to ensure all assets are properly accounted for. System Upgrades and Maintenance: Plan and execute regular system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure all systems are up-to-date and secure. Work with vendors and third-party providers for software upgrades and installations. Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their IT requirements and deliver appropriate solutions. Document all technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal reference. What do we look in for you? Any bachelor’s degree experience in a corporate IT support or system administration role. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and various software applications Familiarity with network security principles and tools (VPN, firewalls, endpoint protection).
