We are seeking a highly skilled and organized IT Administrator to manage and maintain our company's technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems, networks, and hardware, while providing technical support to staff. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of network security, troubleshooting, and system maintenance. Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and cloud-based networks. Ensure network infrastructure is secure, optimized, and functioning efficiently. Manage network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Install, configure, and manage servers, databases, and other critical infrastructure systems. Ensure that operating systems, hardware, and software are updated and maintained. Monitor system performance, perform routine backups, and recover lost or corrupted data. Configure and manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings. Implement and monitor security measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, and encryption tools to protect company data and systems. Regularly perform security audits and vulnerability assessments. Respond to and mitigate potential security breaches, and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations. Provide timely technical support to employees on hardware, software, and network issues. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, printers, and other hardware. Train staff on how to use IT systems and software applications effectively. Oversee the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware devices, such as computers, servers, printers, and mobile devices. Install, configure, and update software applications, including productivity tools, email clients, and security software. Ensure regular backup procedures are followed and that backup data is stored securely. Develop, test, and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in case of system failure. Monitor system performance and network traffic to identify issues and optimize efficiency. Provide regular reports to management on system performance, network health, security incidents, and IT-related issues. Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and support project initiatives. Assist with the planning and implementation of new IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and integrations. Collaborate with external vendors or consultants for specialized IT support.
