Detailed Job Description: As a Development Specialist you must have: Hands-on expertise RPG400/IV, RPG Free, CL, SQL, Embedded SQL, Query & ILE Recent and advanced experience with RPG (ILE/FREE) using Procedures, Service Programs, and Functions Hands-on experience of Application Design & Development in BFSI/Banking domain is desirable Change management experience and familiarity with a change management tool Understanding of DevOps concepts and techniques Strong understanding and working experience with CI/CD and available tools i.e. usage of Jenkins, Sonar, RDI Working experience in an agile environment Ability to quickly acquire new skills and tools Ability to resolve critical issues in timely manner Be a clear communicator, document your work, share your ideas Review and be reviewed by your peers Experience releasing to production what you developed and then supporting it Candidate profile Be an approachable and supportive team member with a collaborative attitude within a demanding, maturing Agile environment. And equally important - you listen and reflect back what others communicate to you Regularly demonstrate these qualities - drive, motivation, determination, dedication, resiliency, honesty, and enthusiasm Be culturally aware and sensitive Be flexible under pressure Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and presentation skills Ability to communicate with non-technical people Qualification Technology Skills Substantial experience on iSeries platform (AS400, RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, DB2, SQL) Good knowledge Code packaging, Change Planning and Production Release, Subsystems, Backup and Restore process etc Good knowledge of MQ, Connect Direct and sFTP interface setup on iSeries Test Environment Build, Maintenance, Support and Manage access controls/governance on iSeries platform Strong understanding/hands-on of CI/CD pipeline coupled with DevSecOps Methodologies Good Knowledge of code promotion to different Test and Live environments via source control tools (RTC-ARCAD) Good knowledge on work management, DASD monitoring, allocation, and clean-up Working knowledge/Certification of any Cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a must Good knowledge of Agile Framework (Scrum Methodologies) Tools Good working knowledge of DevSecOps Tools (RTC, ARCAD, Jenkins, Service Now, Ansible, GitHub)
